Showing a stylish group soaking up the sun on the streets of St Tropez, this was the picture that gave a fascinating glimpse into the court of Sir Elton John.

The 65-year-old singer has spent the past few weeks relaxing in the South of France with his partner David Furnish, 49, and their 20-month-old son Zachary.

This week, with Zachary believed to be in the care of the couple’s nanny, they were photographed catching up with a group of friends, sharing a joke on board Sir Elton’s yacht before going shopping back on dry land.
