Kellan Lutz as Hercules ...
It will surely be enough for his fans to feel the effects of a Cupid's arrow.
For new images have just been released of Kellan Lutz showing off his toned torso on the set of upcoming adventure pic Hercules 3D.
The handsome actor reportedly gained 20 pounds of brawn to play the mythical character, with director Renny Harlin demanding he craft a super-defined six-pack torso.

Now, new stills from the film give a sneak peek of Lutz in action, showing off his convincingly toned body in battle and even wooing the goddess Hebe.
Lutz summons a stoic look in one frame, glaring at the ground before him as he walks away from a guard-flanked doorway.
He looks ready for battle with his round shield, sword and a heavy armoured belt to protect his midsection.
A shingled bit of armour over one shoulder and flashes of crimson cloth complete the warrior's look.

In another scene, Kellan dons a traditional Phyrgian battle helmet adorned with a crest of feathers, while menacingly brandishing his sword.
Every good adventure epic flaunts a romance, and Hercules 3D is no exception: The Twilight hunk is seen getting intimate with Hebe, played by Gaia Weiss, in the grass.
They appear moments from a kiss as the goddess of youth caresses his neck.
Slated for a March 2014 release, Hercules 3D will face competition soon after from Hercules: The Thracian Wars, another movie that stars Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

But Kellan seemed unfazed by that film, which is directed by Rush Hour favourite Brett Ratner and is tentatively scheduled to arrive in theaters next summer.
He said: 'I wish them the best. They have a great cast, but the story is completely different.
‘[Johnson's Hercules] is much older and our Hercules is the man’s journey from him being a boy to a man, and it’s very real and human.'
With a blend of mythology, action and sensual romance, it's no surprise that the Hercules tale has inspired so many filmmakers to tackle it - and viewers certainly won't mind having two thrilling choices next year.
